Express Yourself

In 2009 I created Express Yourself Community Choir. I wanted to make music fun and accessible to all, regardless of ability. It went from strength to strength and I soon realised that there was a real demand for fun, relaxed, audition free music making. I could utilise my qualities as a teacher and musician whilst helping the community learn how rewarding making music can be. My philosophy is that everyone can sing make music and have fun. All people need is an opportunity, encouragement and self-confidence.

Helen Russell BSc (Hons) has a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, is a member of the Musicians' Union, has full Public Liability Insurance and a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check.
